My curriculum vitae summarized:

I am presently employed by the Chamber of Agriculture of Lower-Saxony where I am a specialist in digitalization and innovation in forestry. Over the last years, I was also responsible for Forestry-IT and Forestry-GIS as well as the leader of the project GeProOpt_Holz, a staff of the project CO-2-OPT and a staff for forest management. I previously pursued doctoral studies in forest hydrology from 2012 to 2016 at Universität Bayreuth. My project concerned the Hydrological dynamics of forested catchments as influenced by the East Asian summer monsoon. Before this, I was employed by the Canadian Forest Service, where I co-implemented and co-managed a national-scale database on plant functional traits. I also contributed to the establishment of potential indicators for the evaluation of climate change effects on Canada’s forests. Prior to this position, I completed a Master's degree in forest sciences in the fields of biometeorology and ecophysiology, within the framework of the Canadian Carbon Program. I studied the CO2 fluxes of a boreal black spruce chronosequence in eastern North America (Payeur-Poirier et al., 2012). During and following my bachelor studies in forestry, I was employed by the the Natural Resources Institute Finland and by the NSERC - University Laval Industrial Research Chair in Silviculture and Wildlife, where I participated in various research projects in forest hydrology, silviculture, and on the effects of climate change on tree seedlings.
